Animals and Us exhibition
A new interactive, family exhibition is now open at Bolton Museum – with a tiny mouse as star of the show.
Leopold, the inquisitive mouse, has been designed by Chorlton illustrator Anna Violet and is the mascot for Animals and Us.

With our sessions, we work with girls ages 13-19 in a safe, fun and friendly environment, whilst informally raising awareness and educating the girls on issues typically associated with young girls in today’s society.
The girls will get involved in a planned activity, most of which they suggest. So far we’ve had a Mocktail making night, dominoes and DVD night, and one evening we made trinket boxes.

Children aged 3 to 15 years old can enter their very own Ironkids race during the Ironman UK race weekend. This 'run only' event will be held in Bolton town centre on Saturday 15 July 2017. It's all about fun and healthy living and each child will receive a race t-shirt and an Ironkids medal once they cross the line under the iconic Ironman finish gantry. The event is being held in partnership with Bolton Council.
